The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is a co-organizer of a specialized workshop at NeurIPS 2025 – one of the world’s most prestigious conferences in the field of artificial intelligence. The event will take place from December 8 to 14, 2025, in San Diego, USA. […]

INSAIT researchers in collaboration with international partners, have introduced GaussianVLM—the first Vision-Language Model capable of understanding fully immersive 3D scenes reconstructed from ordinary smartphone videos, without the need for specialized hardware. GaussianVLM leverages Gaussian splats, a compact and photorealistic 3D representation, enabling the model to interpret complex spatial environments and answer open-ended, natural-language questions about […]

The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) is proud to announce its participation at the 42nd International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2025), taking place in Vancouver, Canada. This year, INSAIT researchers have had two papers accepted to the main conference and three papers accepted to associated ICML workshops, marking a significant […]

2 July 2025, Sofia, Bulgaria. The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is launching a joint program (insait.ai/mit/) with the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. The partnership was announced today at a special ceremony attended by […]

INSAIT and ETH Zurich announces the release of the Open Proof Corpus (OPC) — the largest public dataset of mathematical proofs generated by large language models (LLMs) and meticulously annotated for correctness by human experts. Alongside the dataset, INSAIT has published a large-scale study analyzing the performance of today’s AI models in mathematical proof generation. […]

We are pleased to announce that two papers co-authored by INSAIT researcher Jakub Tetek, in collaboration with Richard Hladík (PhD student at ETH Zurich and former INSAIT visitor), have been accepted to the Foundations of Responsible Computing (FORC) 2025 symposium. One of the papers was honored with the Best Student Paper Award. FORC 2025, held […]

INSAIT, in collaboration with leading international research institutions, is proud to announce the release of SceneSplat—the first system for instant 3D object discovery from text within photorealistic scenes. With SceneSplat, users can search for any phrase, not just a predefined set of categories, and instantly identify relevant objects directly in 3D space. Built on top […]
