INSAIT at Sofia University to Co-Organize Workshop at Leading AI Conference NeurIPS 2025

The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is a co-organizer of a specialized workshop at NeurIPS 2025 – one of the world’s most prestigious conferences in the field of artificial intelligence. The event will take place from December 8 to 14, 2025, in San Diego, USA.
The workshop will focus on bridging the gap between simulation and real-world data – a critical challenge in developing intelligent agents capable of interacting effectively with the real world. The event will bring together leading researchers, engineers, and experts from across the globe to share innovations and progress in this rapidly evolving field.
Among the invited speakers are Chelsea Finn from Stanford University – a prominent figure in robotics and machine learning, Peter Stone from the University of Texas at Austin – a pioneer in autonomous systems and former president of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and John Langford from Microsoft Research New York – creator of one of the most efficient machine learning systems used in the industry.
Alongside INSAIT, the workshop is co-organized by Stanford University, Meta, Tsinghua University (the top university in China), the University of California San Diego, the National University of Singapore, and other leading academic and industrial institutions.
This collaboration highlights the global recognition of INSAIT and Sofia University as key contributors to the advancement of artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies.
