Prof. Dr. Iryna Gurevych

Prof. Dr. Iryna Gurevych, one of the world’s most distinguished scientists in the area of Natural Language Processing (NLP), has joined INSAIT as an affiliated faculty. As of 2023, Prof. Gurevitch is the President of ACL (Association for Computational Linguistics).

Prof. Dr. Gurevych is the recipient of numerous awards, including an ERC Advanced Grant. She is also the Director of the NLP program within ELLIS – European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems, Europe’s most prestigious AI network, where INSAIT is a member unit. Prof. Gurevich has published over 300 peer-reviewed publications, has an h-index 82, and over 35,000 citations.
