Leading professors from Stanford, Oxford, MIT, UT Austin, Technion, ETH Zurich and EPFL will speak in Sofia about the most current topics in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, informatics and technology, such as Neuro-symbolic AI, Generative AI and others.
Top researchers present the latest advances in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in a series of INSAIT events in Sofia

INSAIT – Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology has launched a series of events under the motto ” Latest Advances in AI and Computing” with the participation of world-class scientists, creators of some of the most current and interesting technologies.
The events will be held periodically at the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, with free admission and only prior registration required. The planned events are suitable for software engineers, entrepreneurs, members of the academic community, students with prominent interests, students and investors in the high-tech sector. By the end of May this year, the speakers will be:
- Prof. Mikhail Bronstein , University of Oxford, CTO at Twitter, DeepMind Professor of AI. One of the creators of Geometric Deep Learning.
- Prof. Eran Yahav , Technion, Israel. Prof. Yahav is the co-founder and CTO of Tabnine, a leading global company in the field of Generative AI for programming automation.
- Prof. Suarat Chaudhuri , University of Texas at Austin, USA. One of the world leaders in the field of Neurosymbolic AI.
- Prof. David Basin , ETH Zurich, Switzerland. One of the world leaders in the field of cybersecurity, co-founder of Anapaya – the company creating the next generation of secure and reliable internet.
- Prof. Armando Solar-Lezama , Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. One of the world leaders in the field of Neurosymbolic AI.
- Prof. Martin Odersky , EPFL, Switzerland. Inventor of the Scala programming language.
- Prof. Alexander Aiken , Stanford, USA. One of the most renowned scientists in the field of programming languages, with a number of prestigious international awards. Former Dean of the Stanford Computer Science Department.
