The INSAIT Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) 2026 program is in full swing!

Our 2026 cohort of outstanding undergraduate students from 10 countries is already immersed in exciting research projects, working with INSAIT researchers across machine learning, computer vision, robotics, AI for mathematics, natural language processing, information security, theory and algorithms, and more.

Selected from 2,800 applicants worldwide, this year’s batch brings together some of the brightest young minds from around the world: from international Olympiad medalists and national champions to top-ranked students from leading universities across the globe.

This summer, Sofia becomes home to an exceptional international community of future scientists and innovators, united by a passion for research and discovery.
