INSAIT launches summer research program for students modeled after Caltech, MIT and ETH Zurich

Today, INSAIT – Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” announced a summer research program for students studying in bachelor’s and master’s programs. The program was created according to the successful model of summer student research programs at elite universities such as ETH Zurich, California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and provides an opportunity for research under the guidance of some of the best professors in the world of computer science and artificial intelligence, including Prof. Luc Van Gool, Prof. Martin Vechev, Prof. Dragomir Radev, and others. The internship is paid 1500 EUR per month, lasts between 8 and 10 weeks and will take place between June and August 2023 in Sofia.
The goal of the program is for students to experience the processes, people, and culture of research environments and to gain knowledge in extremely relevant areas such as machine learning, autonomous cars, natural language processing, cybersecurity, and others. Summer research programs are a proven mechanism for attracting young talents to the world of science, research, and the world of high technology.
