Félix Dedek Joins INSAIT as a PhD Researcher

We are pleased to welcome Félix Dedek to INSAIT as a new PhD student in the research group of Dr. Jinjin Gu, where he will work on AI models for image and text generation.

His research interests include diffusion and flow matching models, particularly combining recurrent state models with diffusion-based language models to enable more efficient, long-horizon reasoning.

Félix holds a master’s degree in Mathematics, Vision and Learning (MVA) from ENS Paris-Saclay and a bachelor degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Munich (LMU).

Before joining INSAIT, he conducted research on flow map distillation at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Japan.

Beyond his work in AI, Félix has a lifelong passion for music. A pianist since childhood, he won First Prize at Jugend Musiziert Munich in 2023.

Welcome to INSAIT, Félix! We are excited to have you on board!
