Bulgaria’s INSAIT ranks 13th in Europe, overtaking universities in Oxford, London, Amsterdam and Berlin

CSRanking ranks INSAIT ahead of institutions such as Oxford University, University College London, Technical University of Berlin
The Institute of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” ranks 13th in Europe. This is shown by the data of CSRankings – a global ranking for universities and institutes in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence. INSAIT ranks ahead of some of the most established European institutions such as Oxford University, University College London, Technical University of Berlin, Politecnico di Milano and hundreds of others in Europe. INSAIT also ranks as first in Eastern Europe.
CSRankings evaluates only publications in the most prestigious and selective international conferences, providing objective and reliable information on the scientific influence and impact of each institution. That is why traditionally first places are occupied by organizations with vast experience and proven results over the years. The INSAIT ranking covers the period from the first INSAIT accepted publications (2023) to present day, and includes the research areas that INSAIT focuses on and are supported by CSrankings: computer vision (where INSAIT is ranked number 6 in Europe), robotics, machine learning, natural language processing and algorithms.
The success of INSAIT is historic, especially for a research institution founded in 2022. This and other results by INSAIT continue to strengthen Bulgaria’s global standing as a key player in computer science, artificial intelligence and technology.
