We’re thrilled to share that Prof. Zico Kolter (Carnegie Mellon University) gave an invited lecture as part of the INSAIT Tech Series live in Sofia next week! Prof. Kolter is one of 9 members of OpenAI’s board together with Sam Altman, and a member of its safety and security committee.
Prof. Zico Kolter is one of the world’s leading scientists in the area of safe and secure AI whose groundbreaking work has been recognized with many prestigious awards. He is the head of the Machine Learning Department at CMU and is a co-founder and chief technical adviser of Gray Swan, an AI security startup.
Prof. Kolter shared groundbreaking insights on improving the robustness of large language models (LLMs), making them harder to manipulate through adversarial attacks. He also covered the challenges of securing AI systems and highlighted a recent competition where attackers couldn’t break a specially designed LLM after a month of attempts!
