With a 14 accepted papers and a booth next to tech giants such as Google, Waymo, Meta, and Sony, INSAIT is positioning Bulgaria as a leading AI destination
The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” marks a major milestone at ICCV 2025 – one of the world’s most prestigious conferences in computer vision and artificial intelligence, taking place next week in the United States. The event is expected to gather more than 10,000 leading researchers and experts from around the world.
This year, INSAIT will be represented with 14 accepted research papers, including one oral presentation (among the top 2% of accepted papers) and two highlights, which are among the highest distinctions awarded by the conference. INSAIT is also co-organizing one workshop and two international challenges, in collaboration with world-renowned academic and industrial partners such as Stanford University, ETH Zurich, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Google.
The research presented by INSAIT covers some of the most dynamic areas in modern artificial intelligence — including multimodal and 3D scene understanding, robust segmentation, object tracking, and vision-language integration. These advances lay the groundwork for the future of autonomous systems, robotics, and intelligent perception technologies.
ICCV 2025 attendees can visit INSAIT’s booth (#405), located alongside leading global technology companies such as Google, Waymo, Meta, and Sony. More than ten INSAIT researchers will be present on site, showcasing their latest developments, live demonstrations, and opportunities for collaboration and career growth within INSAIT in Sofia.
With this achievement, INSAIT continues to position Bulgaria as a leading destination for cutting-edge research and innovation in artificial intelligence and deep tech.
