INSAIT hosted the extended Bulgarian national team for the 30th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad, taking place in Romania this week.
During the visit, Kristian Minchev, a PhD student at INSAIT, taught two lectures on Geometry as part of the team’s preparation for the Olympiad. He also presented INSAIT, followed by a short panel discussion with the students.
Kristian graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Oxford. As a student, he was part of Bulgaria’s national mathematics team, winning a silver medal at the 2019 International Mathematical Olympiad.
We wish the Bulgarian national team success in the competition!
